In Year 9 students opt for subjects they will study at GCSE alongside the core subjects of Maths, English Language, English Literature, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. All students choose a humanity GCSE alongside three ‘free’ choices. We highly recommend that students include a modern foreign language and creative subject within their free choices, but this is not compulsory.
Students in Year 10 and 11 also continue to receive non examined Physical Education and Personal Development lessons.
