The 2023 Admissions Cycle
The 2023 Cycle is not yet open, it is likely to open in September 2022. Please do not use the Admission Form below, as this is only for the current Admission Cycle.

We have a Sixth Form Taster Day each January
Sixth Form Entry Requirements
We require a minimum of five GCSEs at Grade 6 or equivalent.
We also require GCSE English Language at Grade 4 as a minimum.
We need you to have achieved Grade 6 in the subjects to be studied at A Level, or in a similar subject if you have not studied this subject at GCSE.
To study A Level Science subjects you must also have a minimum of Grade 5 in GCSE Maths
To study Further Maths you must have at least Grade 7 in GCSE Maths
If you wish to study four A Level subjects then you must achieve Grade 8 in at least four GCSE subjects.
A Step-by-Step Guide to Joining LGGS Sixth Form in September 2022
Please follow the Five Steps below which will guide you through the application process.
STEP 1: Attend our Open Evening
The Sixth Form Open Evening will be on:
18th November 2021

STEP 2: Apply Online
Please submit your application using our online application formApply now
The closing date for applications will be 2nd February 2022

STEP 3: Receive an Offer
After you submit your application form you will be made a provisional offer. This will be subject to your meeting our general entrance requirements and any additional subject-specific requirements.
STEP 4: Attend an Advice and Guidance Meeting
You will also be invited to attend an Advice and Guidance Meeting when you will have a one-to-one meeting with a member of staff to discuss your A-level subject choices. This is an informal meeting which is intended to ensure you make the right choices and give you the opportunity to ask any questions you might have. Depending on circumstances this will take place in person or virtually.
You will also be invited to a Sixth Form Induction Day in early July. This will be a great opportunity to meet other students and get to know the Sixth Form staff.
STEP 5: Confirm Your Place
On GCSE Results Day we will confirm your enrolment and discuss any subject changes with you.
