How parents can support LGGS

How can you help?

We provide an excellent level of teaching, care and support for all our pupils. You will be aware that all schools are facing a very difficult financial situation with cuts in funding. We have a sound history of employing our budget wisely to ensure that the pupils benefit to the utmost from our funding.

However we are also an ambitious school and want to provide the very best experiences and facilities for our students and our aim is to maintain these high standards in what is increasingly a challenging environment for schools.

School Angel

Charitable Fundraising Initiative
If, when purchasing everyday goods online from a wide range of well-known brands, you access these sites via the ‘School Angel’ charity link on our website’s home page, LGGS will benefit. The company from whom you purchase goods, whether it be for travel, clothes, stationary or household items, will give a charitable donation to LGGS as a percentage of the purchase price, at no extra cost to yourself. For every £100 collected from School Angel-purchase donations, the school will receive 90% (in comparison to other fundraising sites who return 50% of the donation to schools). Please see the full list of companies who are affiliated with School Angel on their website - no login or account needed and no personal details are requested.

We Can Make a Difference Together

Gifts from former pupils and parents, staff and other friends of the School have been spent on a variety of projects. All these projects successfully provided new facilities and opportunities for the direct and immediate benefit of LGGS students.

Giving to the School is a valuable way of supporting LGGS and the next generation. If you are able to make a donation to the Annual Fund, you will be making a real difference to the facilities at LGGS and to the lives of all our students.

Our goal is to seek participation from everyone connected with the LGGS community by asking you to consider making a donation, regardless of how big or small the gift.
Whether you are able to pledge a modest amount or to contribute a monthly basis, it would be greatly appreciated and it would help us to achieve the very best for our students.

Thank you,

Mrs Cahalin, Headteacher.
