CHALLENGE 120

D.O.T - Do One Thing.
Turn off a light bulb.
Perform an act of kindness once a day.
Give your old phone to charity.

Enjoy two days of challenge and enterprise organised by LRGS and LGGS
Get involved not because you are obliged to but because you can and there is good in it.
Take it one step further and actually do something that will make a difference, without being told to
but because you want to.

This was the challenging message from Kevin Roberts, CEO of Saatchi and Saatchi who opened a previous Challenge 120 and the words students were left with at the end of two days of fun and hard work on behalf of Barnardos, CancerCare, NSPCC and Stepping Stones. With the Year 12s from both schools joined together in small groups with a mentor from local business, industry and services the Challenge was to pitch ideas to the charities in return for a £120 investment in that fundraising idea.
