Fairtrade
Year 7 have enjoyed learning about Fairtrade in a half day workshop. They used the Fairtrade website to investigate what Fairtrade is and how it helps producers. They also sampled a little Fairtrade chocolate! Read more plus Fairtrade Website

Potato Growing at LGGS:
Earlier this year a team of 4 girls from each Year 7 form planted second early potatoes
in the garden plot by Technology. This is part of the Food for Life project. Their aim is to grow the most potatoes from 2 rows just 8 seed potatoes per form. We will dig up the
potatoes on Monday 6th July, so watch this space for the results! Read more
Spiral Herb Garden at LGGS
We built this herb spiral for the purpose of using some of its produce in food technology lessons and in our school canteen. Insects may be attracted to our herbs and these insects will pollinate other plants. Read more
