On Tuesday 3rd March two of our pupils, together with representatives from the other
eleven Lancashire schools involved , attended the next ‘round’ of the judging
process for the Lancashire Children’s Book of The Year’ award. Read more

Leading Edge Project
An exciting project that involved our four Leading Edge partner schools, Lancaster City Council and the London based company Amenity Space, has ended successfully. Four Year 9 pupils from each school have worked on a project to revamp Lancaster’s Market Square. Read more

Social Enterprise Group
The Social Enterprise Group ‘Les Femmes’ held a Mother and Daughter evening in order to raise muchneeded funds for Lancaster and District Women’s Aid.. Read more

Thank you to Mrs Walker who helped organise the Mother and daughter charity fundraiser. We are delighted to inform you that we raised £301 from this event and our strawberries and cream stall which will go to Lancaster and District Women’s Aid to help improve facilities and care for women and children who use this centre.


Young Citizen Award Winner
Schoolgirl Louisa Brown fills her life organising concerts for Oxfam, setting up her own action group and helping out on charity trips abroad. Louisa's dedication to helping
others has won her this month's Lancashire Young Citizen award, a prize backed by the Evening Post and Lancashire County Council to recognise young people's achievements. Read more
