The Big Bang Fair 11th to 13th March 2010

In March this year the Royal Academy will be holding their annual ‘Big Bang Fair’ at Manchester Central (formerly the GMEX centre).  This is an annual event, having been held in London last year, and is both informative and entertaining and is specifically aimed at schools and colleges. The Fair covers a large range of events, activities and displays.

Our school has 2 teams entered in the National Science and Engineering Competitions. Our Year 10 team is entered for the BA Silver Crest Award project and our Year 13 Engineering Education Team is entered for the BA Gold Crest Award project and The Young Engineers for Britain competitions.

All our Year 9 Electronics students will be attending on Friday 12th March, when the fair is open to schools and colleges.
The Fair is open to the general public on Saturday 13th March and entry is free of charge.  We would like to encourage our parents and students to visit the fair and support our teams.

For further information see the Big Bang website. Please preregister at the Big Bang Website.
