We would like to extend a very warm welcome to all our students in Year 12. It must seem like a long time ago that you considered your options for |
Welcome back after what I hope was a restful summer. The AS modules are over and the results are in. It is now the final push before you leave LGGS next summer. Before the break you will have started deciding whether to apply to University or not and hopefully by now you will have a much clearer idea of what you want to do and where you want to go. This is a really exciting time, visiting universities, completing the UCAS form and making final choices. However, one very large word of caution you still need to get the grades to achieve your goal and A2 studies in Year 13 are extremely important, so don’t forget to maintain the focus and work hard. As Year 13 students you are now the role models for the rest of the school, in charge of the Houses, prefects to Lower school forms and often guides for school tours. These responsibilities are a fantastic opportunity for you to display your maturity and you often do so with aplomb. So as you progress through your final year at LGGS don’t forget to enjoy your last Children in Need and Carol Service and before you know it, the Leaver’s Ball. |
