‘It is the aim of the department to enthuse and challenge the pupils to be inquisitive about the world around them and the processes operating within the multitude of physical and human environments. Particularly, for them to be able to place contemporary events within a framework of sound geographical knowledge and understanding gleaned from their experience of the subject here in school.’
