Business Studies is an exciting and dynamic subject that is relevant to everyone whether you are an employer, an employee or a just consumer wishing to know your rights. It also has a particular importance for those thinking of starting their own business. 
The subject includes elements of economics, accounts, marketing and management, studied separately at first but as the course progresses the approach becomes more interdisciplinary.
We will provide students with a critical understanding of: The internal functions of contemporary business organisations; the dynamic external environment within which businesses operate and the effects this can have upon decision-making within a business.
