LONDON 2010 OLYMPIC GAMES DESIGN A T-SHIRT COMPETITION
On the 15th March 2011, there will be 500 days left until the London 2012 Olympic Games. In celebration of this, LGGS Sports Ambassadors: E. Belshire, E. Brooks, L. Bale,
S. Moghaddam, J. Miller, J. Atkinson, A. Tidswell, A. Snalam and R. Snalam have launched a London 2012 Olympic Games 'design a t-shirt' competition in Dolphinholme, Thurnham Glasson, Cockerham and Grosvenor Park Primary Schools. They each delivered a powerpoint presentation to over 300 pupils, which included; the history of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, sports that are included in the Olympics and the 7 values - friendship, respect, courage, excellence, determination, inspiration and equality.
All designs must be handed in by 8th April 2011.
