LGGS 2009-2010 sporting opportunities have been eclectic and exciting. 2009-10 has seen Lancaster Girls' Grammar School enter their first ever cricket and football competition. New sporting activities are being offered before, during and after school including rugby, cricket, table tennis, rowing, lacrosse, aerobics and fencing. On the track LGGS pupils dominated the district cross country championships winning all year group trophies and the year 7 athletics team are set to represent Lancaster in the North West Aviva Sportshall Athletics Championships.
