Mozart’s Requiem
Concert on April 22nd at 7.30pm

IMPORTANT Change of venue
This concert, announced in the last newsletter as taking place in Morecambe parish church, has now
moved to St Peter’s RC Cathedral in Lancaster.

The combined orchestra of LGGS and LRGS will play the spectacular Danse Macabre by Saint-Saens
(well-known as the theme music to Jonathan Creek), the overture to Mozart’s opera The Magic Flute.
Beth Fuller-Teed will be the lead violinist. In the second half, a choir of students, staff and parents will be joined by a guest orchestra of students, staff and professional musicians led by ex-LGGS girl Rose Martin, to sing Mozart’s incomparable Requiem.
This superb evening of tuneful and moving live music starts at 7.30 (doors open 7.00) and costs £5.00 (students £1.00). Tickets will be available from reception at the two schools and on the door.
